Our family is deeply grateful for the care our mom received at Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center. Moving into a nursing home was not what she wanted—her heart was always set on returning to her own home—but she needed more care than we could provide. The facility is absolutely beautiful, and the lovely surroundings made it easier for her to be there. The staff treated her with kindness, dignity, and genuine compassion. There are far too many caring people there to name without risking leaving someone out, but Michelle in social services was a tremendous help from the very beginning—months before our mom even arrived—and she continued to support us even after our mom’s passing. Crystal, the Head of Nursing, took the time to truly get to know our mom and connect with her personally, which meant so much. Our mom felt seen and understood, and that made a real difference. Our mom was a strong and independent woman, and it meant a great deal to us that she was treated with such respect. We will always be grateful for the care they gave her.
