My husband & I had his sister placed at Brookshire several months ago. Lena, the Admitting Director made the entire process very easy - we had so many questions. Lena is an outstanding compassionate professional. From the very start she made my husband, myself and his sister feel like family. Very pleased with Lena, all staff and the facility.

The Brookshire has caring and friendly staff... especially the maintenance director. He goes above and beyond for the residents and does it with care and compassion. He works hard and has been doing a wonderful job with the renovations to the facility.

What dump! I went to pick my mom’s belongings today. The place stunk, cockroaches, the cleaner said the room was clean (sticky stuff on the floor, a half eaten sandwich on a book, rancid milk on a bag… ect). Is this how we treat our elderly? Shame!

Five stars for Brookshire! My experience with this assisted living facility has been absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are truly exceptional – kind, compassionate, and always ready to go the extra mile. They treat residents with dignity and respect, and I've seen firsthand how much they genuinely care. Beyond the amazing staff, the location of Brookshire is perfect. It's conveniently situated close to downtown Melbourne where there are shops, parks, and medical facilities which makes visits easy and provides residents with access to everything they need. I highly recommend Brookshire to anyone looking for a top-notch assisted living community.
