About Pegasus Landing of Round Rock

Pegasus Landing of Round Rock offers assisted living and memory care in Round Rock, Texas, serving families throughout Williamson County, including Round Rock, Hutto, and Cedar Park. The community is designed for older adults who want personalized support while maintaining independence and dignity.

Assisted living residents receive individualized services ranging from medication management to personal care assistance, and they only receive and pay for the services that benefit their lifestyle. Team members are described as becoming part of the family, with daily support that helps residents grow and maximize their abilities while staying social and engaged.

The community's Connections memory care program is an evidence-based dementia care approach developed by Dr. Sandra Petersen, designed to slow progression and preserve quality of life for residents with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. The program aims to relieve family caregivers of round-the-clock responsibilities, allowing them to return to being a daughter, son, or spouse rather than a full-time caregiver.

Dining is served three times daily, with a culinary team that accommodates dietary needs and preferences to support both physical and cognitive health. Residents can enjoy a range of activities, including fitness and wellness exercises tailored to individual abilities, social hours, brain games, and visits from guest musicians, performers, and entertainers, along with outings to local attractions.

Living spaces are thoughtfully designed, and residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture, photographs, and belongings to help make their new home feel personal and familiar.

My mother moved into Brookdale several months ago. The staff are excellent, and I would highly recommend Brookdale. Our first contact was with Haley, who gave us a tour and patiently answered all my questions. She kindly arranged for my mother to attend several activities. This was a great help, so that when my mother moved in later, she had already met some of the other residents and was a little familiar with the building. Erica organizes the activities at Brookdale, and she does an amazing job. The activities are tailored to the interests and abilities of the residents. There is no pressure to join in, but if you want to, there is always lots to do. If my mother doesn’t show up for an activity that she usually attends, Erica notices her absence and will go knock on her door to see if she would like to come. The residents love Erica and she truly seems to care about them too. Any time I visit, the residents all seem to be happy. Most of them use walkers, and you might think they couldn’t do very much, but they have art classes, book club, live music entertainment, Friday happy hour, chair exercise classes, restaurant outings, bingo and other games, culinary club, and more. I once showed up when they were playing Wii Bowling. As each resident took their turn, Erica reminded them to lock the wheels on their walker and hold it with one hand while they bowled. The other residents would clap and cheer as each person took their turn. John is another employee who clearly cares about the residents. When he sees a way to be helpful, he steps right up before you even ask. When he saw my mother having a little trouble getting out of a rocking chair, he was immediately by her side to assist. When my mother goes upstairs to play games with her friends in the evening, she occasionally turns the wrong way off the elevator, but John is familiar with her routine and kindly takes her in the right direction. When he noticed us looking in the puzzle cabinet for a jigsaw puzzle to do together, he not only told us that there was another puzzle cabinet a bit further down the hallway, but he also returned a few moments later with a puzzle for us. John is always kind and patient and helpful, a real treasure. I could go on and on. Wanda, the concierge at the front desk, is unfailingly helpful. The chef is excellent, and my mother always enjoys her meals. Even the young man who came to empty the trash one day was very thoughtful – he had not seen my mother in the dining room at lunch time and checked to make sure that she had eaten lunch. My mother didn’t really want to move away from her house and into assisted living, but once she moved in she soon started having fun and said that she didn’t want to leave. She feels safe and happy there, and I know that she is well cared for. A big thank you to everyone at Brookdale!

I recently visited my mother-in-law during the community’s annual Christmas party, and I was so impressed. The facility felt incredibly warm and inviting, especially decorated for the holidays, and the food was delicious. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed and comfortable. I had the chance to speak with one staff member who shared that he has been there for over ten years, which really speaks volumes—you don’t see that kind of longevity very often. It’s clear that this is a place where both residents and staff are valued. I’m very glad my mother-in-law is living here and feel confident she’s in great hands.

The staff in care bridge took really good care of my mom while she was there. Unfortunately she passed away in July. Brookdale owe the family a refund for the rest of the month that she wasn’t there. I have reached out to Mrs. Estrada in the billing department at the round rock Tx location every week and every way possible. Nothing but silence! BEWARE!!!!!

I visited Brookdale Round Rock looking for a place for my mom. Erin showed me around and answered my questions. I could see straight away that her (and the staff's) main concern was for the residents there. The tour showed me what a wonderful option this would be for my 91 year old mother. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff, management and dining at this community! Everyone is always smiling and happy! The food is always hot and delicious, a real restaurant style atmosphere. Everyone always seems very happy and very well taken care of. Anyone would be lucky to call this Brookdale home for their loved ones. We were lucky enough to attend an event they were hosting with Elivs, not the real one of course, last week for his Birthday. Boy oh boy did we all have a blast! You could hear the crowd laughing and cheering from the moment you walked into the building. We had such a good time and the food they served was soooo good! I can't wait to attend another event and see what they have in store next! If you are looking for a home for your loved ones I encourage you to check this place out!
