My mother has been a resident for over 3 years. Started in studio, upgraded to 1 bedroom, and has all her special items and furnishings to make her feel like home. Mom chose Brookdale so she could be close to her Church and friends nearby. Mom is happy, clean, and safe. The entire staff: Day/Night/Chef/Social/Salon/Director/Maintenance are exceptional. Every one has consistently shown compassion, patience, kindness and love for ALL residents. Thank you Brookdale Owasso.

UPDATE: The response below from Brookdale is a false statement and wholely untrue.<br><br>If I could give zero stars I would.<br><br>If you are currently looking for a safe, caring place for your loved one, keep looking. After months (12+) of micromanaging this facility we were finally able to move our loved one out. Covid compounded an already badly managed site. Even with a camera in our mothers room, the care was substandard at best, and mostly non-existent once Covid hit. Emails, conference calls, and providing video and photo evidence to corporate “compliance”, resulted in little more than lip service.<br><br>Leadership from the Executive Director sets the tone, as evidenced by the swift decline in care when our original director left. There’s currently a void of leadership which is reinforced by a corporate culture of unaccountability.<br><br>We are so thankful the admissions restrictions related to Covid were lifted and we were able to quickly move her out of a terrible situation.<br><br>*Note that all the good reviews for this location were from 3 years ago. The site had a good ED at that time.

After receiving a verbal acceptance for our father to live at Brookdale Assistant Living in Owasso Oklahoma. My sister received a call today by Angie the sale person, saying Brookdale would not accept our dad after all. Thanks Brookdale Assistant Living for giving my father, sister and I hope.

Both my parents are there and I have seen them smile, giggle, and laugh more than I have seen in a long time. I love that they are in a safe place with people who care about them and meet their needs. They have participated in more community service opportunities than I would have expected. The activities director does a great job putting together meaningful events and scheduling fun outings. The staff go out of their way to care for them and their efforts are appreciated!
