Hard to believe a year has passed. When we first stepped foot into the Franklin Brookdale Senior Community to take a peek, my mom was curious, but a bit combative. She did not want to leave her home. I understood that, but felt it best she had a more accessible community around her to socialize and share meals and activities with, as she was no longer driving. After positioning her initial stay as a trial while we got other life needs in order, I’m pleased to say my mom is thriving with a “consistent” schedule, yet freedom to still make her own decisions. She now views Brookdale as her home. The residents are friendly and engaging, and the staff truly show they care about everyone’s well-being. I’m at peace knowing she is in a nurturing community.

If you want friendly, this is the place. I stayed for a week when the family traveled. I felt welcome immediately.<br>Because it’s older, it’s well constructed and quiet. If there was noise, it was laughter.<br>The staff were accommodating and helpful. I enjoyed the activities and entertainment, and my time there went by very quickly.

“We’ve been here for one year in March and enjoying it more each day. the staff and treated us with nothing less than dignity and respect.
