My mother spent her last year of life at Claire Bridge Brookdale Champions. Jessica, the Program Director and her staff kept the residents active with music and games. Mom made friends with other residents and staff. Jessica really enjoys her work and it shows in the care of the residents. The Brookdale Champions staff made my mom's life comfortable and made her feel cared for. I'm so glad we were able to find such a wonderful home for our mother.

Loving caring staff. However they lie to get you to bring your loved one there. We were very upfront about behavior issues when seeking memory care for my loved one. They said his prescribed meds were not allowed there but no worries, they had lots of other ways to handle the behaviors. They took our community fee, we moved him in and they discontinued his meds. As the meds wore off from his system, the behaviors emerged. Brookdale sent him to a psych hospital then informed us he couldn’t return. I was told the hospital and transport wouldn’t cost anything out of pocket but it cost thousands. We did not get our community fee back (he was there less than a month and only there at all because they lied). We received a partial refund for the days remaining in the month, but they shorted us about $500 of that. Their lies created more disruption for a person with dementia who needs as much stability as possible. Not to mention added stress and financial hardship for the family. If your loved one has no issues, it’s a great place. But the policies created a problem and then they took zero responsibility for that. Be careful. Update: three weeks ago Brookdale commented on this review to say they would look into this. I have heard nothing which is no surprise because before writing this review I wrote directly to them. They didn’t respond to my letter either.

I placed my wife in memory care at Brookdale Champions, and I could not have selected a better residence for her. The staff is outstanding. I know that when I am not visiting her, my wife gets genuine love as well as great care. The facility is very clean, and the food is good. Music is everywhere, and residents are engaged in many activities throughout the day. The director has created a great atmosphere of caring and creativity. Memory care is expensive everywhere, but here it is worth every penny.

I am so impressed with the positive changes and consistent level of care at Brookdale Champions Assisted Living and Memory Care. The community continues to improve, which is a fantastic sign. The staff truly makes the difference. Tyshell, the nurse, is an amazing communicator and incredibly caring. Her professionalism is truly appreciated. Ashley is also a shining star and a true 'ray of sunshine' to the residents and families. With this amazing and dedicated team in place, I would absolutely recommend Brookdale Champions for the care of my own family members. A huge thank you to the whole staff for all they do!"
