Broadmoor Plaza

Broadmoor Plaza is an affordable housing community for low-income seniors 62 and older in San Leandro, California. The community comprises 60 one-bedroom apartments situated along San Leandro's primary commercial corridor and public transit route, providing residents convenient walking and transit access to nearby community services and retail establishments.

Each apartment includes a 16-cubic-foot top freezer refrigerator and electric range/oven. The community features a community room with large-screen TV for activities and events. A service coordinator on-site helps connect residents to community and medical services.

Transportation options include the FLEX free shuttle program for San Leandro seniors (with a $20 annual registration fee) and an exclusive Broadmoor Plaza shuttle bus for shopping trips and day excursions.

Residents are permitted to keep common household pets in their apartments, and service or assistance animals are welcome. Pet rules are in place to maintain a safe and sanitary living environment, covering pet registration, inoculation, waste disposal, and restraint in common areas. Management does not apply pet rules to assistance animals.
