Please help me understand, I’m confined to the bed. After lunch and dinner, they say they can’t help me , they have to collect the trays. I wait anywhere from 30 minutes to a hour. Then certain ones come in with an attitude

My mom was just placed there last week and they have been fantastic! The staff is friendly, and extremely attentive. The PT and OT are getting her back on her feet!

My mother's experience at Briarfield Place for rehab following shoulder replacement surgery has been horrible. Doctor's orders for using an ice machine during her stay have not been followed, resulting in additional pain and inflammation down her arm into her hand. Requests by my mother for ice went unfulfilled. She has not received the continuity of care that she deserves. When she has used the call button to ask for help, it has taken anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half for a staff member to respond. Additionally, CNA staff member has given her attitude when she has made requests for help with her ice machine.

I recently was here for rehab for a broken leg which has kept me mostly wheelchair bound. I found the staff to be very caring and supportive in helping me get stronger and be able to return home. The nursing staff, social services and physical therapy were all exceptional. If you need rehab, this is the place to go. The rooms are spacious, modern and well kept. The common areas are beautifully designed and well cared for. .
