During my recent visit, I observed a warm and compassionate environment where residents appeared engaged and well cared for. The team demonstrated a strong commitment to person-centered care, with staff members addressing residents by name and responding promptly to their needs. The life enrichment program offers a variety of activities tailored to residents’ cognitive abilities, including music therapy, sensory stimulation, and small-group reminiscence sessions. Caregivers consistently used gentle redirection techniques and maintained a calm, reassuring tone when interacting with residents. Additionally, the common areas were clean, well-lit, and free of clutter, contributing to both safety and comfort.

My 92 year old mother is a new resident at Blossom Creek Memory care. I really appreciate the helpful care staff getting her settled into a routine right away. Blossom also has such competent and caring administrative staff and leads who are actually open to questions and who immediately act on things I ask about. Great to have a knowledgeable solid bookkeeper who gets our monthly bills right with no surprises. Big bonus for my mother is the fall detection flooring Blossom installed before my mother moved into her room.

It will be 4 years this May when our lives completely changed! My sister and I had to make the extremely difficult decision to place our beautiful and loving mom in an Alzheimer’s facility. We had been down this road before with our grams. We knew the steps to take, the facilities to visit/ interview, and the process but what we didn’t know this time was the second family we were going to be blessed with. Every single week for almost 4 years, our family has visited our mom at Blossom Creek. To say it is my second home is pretty accurate! Blossom Creek is our mom’s family! Every single person that works there has become her family! Our mom is treated with the utmost respect! She is loved! She is valued! She is given her independence which gives her great confidence! As her family, we have also become part of the Blossom’s family. We are welcomed, heard, treated with compassion and grace. Blossom Creek and Blossom Valley have a huge amount of employees that have been working there for years and years! This speaks volumes! This is one of the most difficult journeys and we are beyond grateful for those at Blossoms who have literally held our hand, hugged us when we cry, continue to give us comfort and reassurance and have helped us grow through this disease. Thank you for being so welcoming, thank you for making us laugh, thank you for truly seeing our beautiful mom as we have always seen her! She loves you all! She says it all the time! You have been a life saver for us! We thank you so very much!!!
