I have had multiple family members here and the staff and experience were 10/10. You won’t find a more compassionate and caring team, and the food is top notch!

We placed my aunt here as dementia whittled away her time and light. What Blair Ridge gave us was nothing short of miraculous. We saw her smile return. She found safety within that place. Her laughter returned and she sang again. Obviously, that didn’t reverse her illness but the amazing team of people there made every minute she had left better. They loved her and us, by extension. This place was the single best decision we could have made for her care and we are grateful and blessed by Blair Ridge.

I’m writing this review as someone who has seen firsthand what happens behind the scenes at Blair Ridge. While some staff truly care, there are serious concerns that families deserve to know before trusting this facility with their loved ones. During my time there, I witnessed residents being left in soiled clothing for extended periods just being ignored (was mainly a dementia patient maybe they thought they forgot), staff brushing off supply shortages with comments like “they won’t care, they won’t even notice,” and workers openly discussing their personal problems with residents—something taught in CNA training is completely inappropriate and unprofessional, can result in firing. Not here your loved one will be hearing about their issues and have to sit through a seminar thats not educational but about their own life problems. Even more troubling, when staff raised concerns about bullying or mistreatment, management often failed to act. The culture of accountability is inconsistent at best. Some employees are allowed to violate basic care standards without consequence, while others are scrutinized unfairly. If you’re considering Blair Ridge for your family member, I urge you to ask hard questions—not just about the building or the activities, but about how staff are trained, how complaints are handled, and how residents’ dignity is truly protected day to day. Your loved one deserves better than surface-level care

With the exception of one aide, everyone who worked with my mother and that I had interactions with were absolutely awesome. My mother and I are extremely happy with her treatment at Blair Ridge.
