The team at Bestcare Home Care has been a genuine blessing during one of the hardest periods of my life. Living with serious health challenges and seizures can make even ordinary days difficult, but the caregivers who have supported me have consistently treated me with dignity, patience, compassion, and humanity. What stands out most is that they do not make me feel like “a case” or a task to complete. They show up as real people who care. They check in thoughtfully, help create calm during difficult moments, and bring warmth into the home in ways that matter more than words can fully explain. One moment that stayed with me was a simple dinner that honestly felt like medicine for the spirit as much as the body: cheesy eggs, spicy vegetables, and Ethiopian-inspired comfort food made with care and kindness. It reminded me that caregiving is not only about appointments and routines — it is also about restoring dignity, comfort, culture, and human connection. My home aide has brought kindness, patience, humor, and a deeply grounded Christian spirit into the home. In moments where pain and uncertainty could easily take over, their presence helped make the environment feel peaceful, safe, and human again.
