Laura Kirk is the most unprofessional narcissist. She claims she’s the boss, yeah a very shitty one. Over the 1.5 yr I’ve worked for her I’ve seen her get hostile with multiple employees including me screaming, walking up on me with threatening acts chest bumping hitting me the door. Telling me I won’t find better pay or a better environment than what she is providing as me completing a Medical Assistant program. Being there as long as I was I’ve only gotten a .50 raise. She’s a habitual liar a hypocrite she treats her employees like shit. She think cause she pays $12 that can jump up in our face cuss us out and expect somebody to take that attitude for long. I got fired for finding coverage for a shift she wasn’t happy about that because I wasn’t available to trade a shift at the moment then proceeded to tell my business as to why I was going to call in telling me that my grandfather being on hospice and being told he may not survive the week told me the job is more important that my situation when her sister died and she took around a week off from work I wasn’t asking for a week I was asking for a day and my already planned off days to grieve what I had left of my grandfather. To keep it going she walking up on me as I was sitting down. I asked her to stop yelling and not to walk up on me. She proceeded to do these things. Things escalated and I went out with a bang. She is a downgrader she belittles her employees. She need people to work for as much as somebody needs a job she misleading the job description paying for assistant living but in reality we are taking care of pts that should be in the nursing home having to lift over 260lbs hurting ourselves we don’t get workers comp . She is literally holding on by a thread to keep her company a float. I’ll be the first one laughing when she completely drive this company to the ground. She gives serious meds to patients narcs blood pressure meds heart medication without vitals. As a nurse she should know how important this is as a nurse she should has drastically things can change in hospice. Very inconsiderate anyone who plans on applying and working for her don’t take or giver more than her. I’ve never called in, in the time I’ve worked there’s she was never put in the position to wondering if I was showing up or having to do my job.
