1 / 10Families describe Belmont Village Hunters Creek as a well-run community with strong memory care programming, engaged activities, and attentive nursing staff, and many reviewers praise specific caregivers by name. However, a handful of reviews raise serious concerns about neglect, medication handling, and how leadership responded to complaints, so experiences appear to vary significantly.

The community combines personalized support with enriching programs, offering private residence plans designed for comfort, safety and independence.
Care options include Assisted Living, which provides help with daily activities while encouraging independence and engagement, and Memory Care programming for early to moderate memory loss through the Circle of Friends program, focused on early intervention and cognitive engagement. Advanced Memory Care offers structured routines and specialized support in a secure environment for residents with more complex cognitive needs. Short-term respite stays are also available for recovery, transition, or evaluating long-term care options. The community is licensed to provide advanced levels of care throughout the property, so residents can receive increasing support without needing to move, and couples with differing needs can age in place together.
Health services include licensed nurses on-site 24/7, supported by clinical teams handling medication management and physician coordination, plus on-site physical, speech and occupational therapy. Residents also have 24/7 access to virtual urgent care telemedicine, and Personal Assistance Liaisons provide additional support for daily activities.
Daily life follows the Whole Brain Fitness philosophy, integrating physical activity, cognitive stimulation and social connection through exercise classes, educational discussions and shared experiences. The community also has a fully equipped creative space for hands-on workshops, a professionally equipped theater for films and seminars, and full daily activity calendars.
Dining is provided in Josephine's Kitchen, where a dedicated chef and staff serve restaurant-style meals with a robust menu and daily specials, alongside grab-and-go options in a more casual Bistro; menus emphasize nutrition, flavor and local sourcing where possible. Additional amenities include a gathering space for residents and family, on-site personal care and salon services, secure package storage, free scheduled transportation for appointments and errands, and regular housekeeping and maintenance. The community also accommodates residents with small pets and companion animals.

I was recently telling a friend about my mother's time at Belmont, and realized I had never written a review! My mother lives here from 2018-2020 and it was wonderful for her. She had the l phase of Alzheimer's but was still very high functioning. The Circle of Friends program was perfect for her. She had a schedule with a class, music, exercise. She really did make friends in the "circle.". We loved to sit in the little garden together when I visited her. I watched her go from being fearful, quiet, and ashamed of her Alzheimers symptoms, to the confident, happy, extroverted woman she had been. They had wonderful enrichment events, like children's choirs coming into sing, and dogs from the shelter coming in for pets (my mom always told me about those dogs!) There were tea parties and birthday cakes. They even put together a celebration of Mama's life- the family contributed pictures and background, and we all attended for her special celebration slideshow. I also appreciated that she had regular cognitive tests, her medications were handled with no problems, and I could have talks with staff about her disease, especially what to expect and how to best communicate with someone with Alzheimer's. We only left because I had to move and we wanted Mama to be near family. If your loved one is at Belmont or ANY assisted living place, I recommend living in the same city so you can check on them, because it's a big place with a fair amount of staff turnover, and it's just common sense to do that. But overall the "pals" (caretaking staff) were just lovely. I am so happy that Mama could be at Belmont. Alzheimers is a terrible disease but it doesn't have to be all bad. My mother was happy here.

Visiting a resident I found all the staff friendly and helpful. The room appeared clean on all of my visits. I think this person is being well served.

These people abuse the Individuals!!! I've visited a friend's family member recently and during the visit I witnessed patients being threatened, talked to in an aggressive manner, shaken physically, and even pushed while seated in a wheelchair. I feel like this place is unfit to service people of any capacity, they should be shut down immediately!!! The staff is absolutely horrible to the patients/Individuals living in the facility. Something needs to happen here immediately!!!
