Horrible place! My mother in law was admitted there 6/19/2026after a fall with a femur brake, non- weight baring and they knew this. The third night they did not give her a food tray and when asked one of the CNA’s said that’s a damn lie. They did not set up or conduct a CMS mandatory 72 hour care plan. She had Medicare and Humana as a supplement and after only a few days claimed Humana would not pay for her in stay and issued her an unsafe discharge. I work in this field and I can tell you if she was denied by Humana or any other managed care she would have been issued a denial letter called a Nomnc which would have given her three days to appeal, however, this was not the case and if the admissions lady, Ashley would have spent more time attentive to her job rather than personal phone calls she could have switch her back to Medicare. None the less, they unsafely discharged an 82 old lady on 7/4/2026 who is so weak she can barely lift her arms must Less stand and pivot on one leg. Just know Bedford! You are liable for her well being for thirty days according to CMS! I could go on but I chose not too!

Ashley Bolton was fantastic My husband spent the last 11 days of his 11year journey with Alzheimers at Bedford. They were very compassionate , treated our family with love and dignity. This year I had revision of a knee replacement, needed to go to rehab, I choose Petal Bedford. They did not disappoint me in the care I received. Be kind and you will will receive kindness

My father has now had 2 stays at Bedford in Petal. The facility is CLEAN! The nurses, administrators, etc. are all professional and kind. They all got to know my father on a personal level and he felt very comfortable and welcome due to their efforts. They also stress physical therapy, provide 3 qualities meals per day, guide you through financial assistance possibilities, and carefully layout a “plan of care”. I would recommend Bedford Care Center of Petal to anyone.

Some of the staff are very rude. They feed people nasty, cold food. My grandmother always received cold eggs and greasy bacon in the morning. One staff member was verbal abusive and tried to lie on my grandmother and say she cussed a lot (my grandmother NEVER says any bad words) and when we called to complain, the staff member admitted to lying and so she was barred from having to ever go into my grandmother's room. If you call to complain about what the staff members are doing to the residents, they will lie and find a way to get the resident out. My grandmother is NOW out and is extremely happy to be away from this horrible place. God has a place for those staff members who are evil, liars, and abusive to the residents and it won't be pretty.

One of the worse places you can bring your loved ones. NON-PRODUCTIVE REHAB! The staff lies to your face about everything and about what the patient does. Some staff members are very rude to your loved ones. There was a COVID outbreak, which came from one of the staff members and they gave it to one of the patients. Every time I went there, they NEVER checked your temp. for COVID. They feed the patients junk food, like pimento cheese sandwiches with potato chips. This is very bad if your loved one has high blood pressure or high cholesterol. All this place cares about are keeping the beds full and collecting a check. They pack the patients in tiny rooms. They absolutely DO NOT CARE about elderly people. A hidden camera is needed to watch the staff handle your loved ones. Beware of this place and avoid it at all costs. NO HUMANITY!
