Dorothy’s Place secure memory care facility in Seattle, WA boasts the same extensive, high-level services offered in Assisted Living, coupled with Alzheimer’s care and dementia care that supports each individual by engaging them in their memory care community in a purposeful way.  Passion for the person is our specialty. Home Care

Everyone needs a little help sometimes. Our well-trained staff assists with cleaning, chores, and daily self-care as needed. Plus, additional services can be added when requested.

Skilled Nursing

Licensed skilled care nurses are on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our certified skilled nursing assistants are available to support each resident with their specific needs, all under the supervision of our physician. Bayview provides long-term skilled nursing care and short-term rehabilitative care. In addition, Bayview’s Health Center offers access to skilled rehab including on-site physical and occupational therapy, speech-language pathology therapies, an on-site social worker, a full slate of in-house and off-campus activities, full nutrition services and spiritual services.

This place has had ongoing construction for the last year and a half with no end date in sight. I called their office over a year ago to see when their end date would be and they said it was supposed to have already happened. Now over a year later, there's still extremely loud and disruptive construction almost every single day, sometimes even on weekends and often starting between 6-7am. Non stop drilling, tractors, millions of loud trucks backing up, jackhammering. Ultimately, ruining the neighborhood and peoples' day to day lives in any nearby homes. I'd love to not have to move apartments and spend hundreds of dollars but living around these constant noises has given me daily headaches and has been a horrible experience.

My mother has been here for over two years and is very happy. The staff is very engaged and kind. Good food and very responsive to the residents’ needs. I toured many places and based on the facilities, staff and residents, the Bayview was the clear winner.

(a) Agency: MyLivingChoice LLC (MyLivingChoice.com), 8705 N. Cypress Ct, Kansas City, MO 64156, (816) 226-7772.

(b) Client: the person sending this request.

(c) Fees: you pay us nothing. If you move into a community we introduced you to, that community pays us a referral fee computed as a percentage of your first month's rent and care charges, invoiced to the community after you move in. If you ask, we will tell you the amount of the fee for any community we refer you to.

(d) Services: MyLivingChoice is a free service that helps families find senior living. We gather a short intake about the care needed, suggest communities that appear able to meet those needs, and introduce you to the ones you choose. For you specifically, we will introduce you to Bayview Retirement Community and share with it your name, contact details and the care needs you described, nothing more.

(e) We will never ask you to waive any claim for loss of personal property or injury, or any right you have under state or federal law.

(f) We work with both you and the community in the same transaction: the community pays us, and we are introducing you to it. To obtain or share confidential health care information about the person who needs care we need your authorization, which you give for the communities named above by acknowledging this statement.

(g) Tours: we do not tour communities as a matter of course. Our information comes from the community itself, its state licence record and public sources. We have not toured Bayview Retirement Community.

(h) You may stop using our service, or switch to another referral agency, at any time and for any reason, with no penalty and no cancellation fee.

(i) Refunds: because you pay us nothing, there is nothing to refund to you. If a community pays us a fee for your placement and the resident dies, is hospitalized or moves to another setting for more appropriate care within the first thirty days after admission, we refund the community a prorated share of the fee for the days not used, as RCW 18.330.090 requires.

(j) Complaints about a referral agency may be filed with the Washington State Office of the Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division (Consumer Resource Center), 800 5th Ave, Suite 2000, Seattle, WA 98104-3188, 1-800-551-4636 in Washington, 1-206-464-6684 from outside the state, https://www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.

(k) Neither MyLivingChoice nor anyone who works on referrals for it, nor their immediate family members, has any ownership interest in any community we refer families to.
