This place is not well run, smells and is filthy. Even though the minimal staff interaction I had was positive, management really need to do something to improve the overall quality and cleanliness of the facility. My heart was saddened for my mother in-law to see her in such a place.

They are under new management. The direction this facility is going is up, and fast. This is a place where your family member can come and get great quality therapy and nursing care while resting your mind knowing your family member is in great hands. Communication, care and compassion.

Everyone wants a place for their loved ones that is not only clean and gives off that warm homelike feeling but can keep it consistent and the proof is in the pudding at Bay Pointe Nursing Pavilion. Not only will you find competency in our caring staff, some that have chosen to be here for 20, 30 and yes 40 plus years but you have found a gem hidden in Pinellas County. But don’t take just my word for it. We are a 5 star rated facility, and have been for the past few years. This comes from CMS, which governs all Skilled Nursing Facilities. Our Quality Measures, and Over all building Staff rating which includes but not limited to things such as falls, pressure ulcers, Activities of Daily living worsening or getting better and use of Psych. Medications. We offer only the best and you will not be disappointed. Please feel free to fact check this information at: Find Healthcare Providers: Compare Care Near You | Medicare and all of this information will be broken down for you. I have also attached the last 2 months of the Star rating report. Please feel free to come and take a tour. You will be glad you did.

Death Trap . People beware this place is simply no good . Poor service. Understaffed most days and if you complain you will get retaliation back but at this point who cares . Food is simply not nutritious and disgusting. Nobody ever answers the phone and when is needed the most nobody ever shows up . Seen many people left sitting for over 8 hours on wheelchairs to the point that they have peed and poop and no comes to help . Still not sure how this place still operates it need to be shut down and I will do anything in my power to see they get reported to the proper authorities this need to stop for my friend and for all of those that don’t speak because they are afraid of retaliation against them . If you have a love one please check on them more often to see if they are getting the care they need and nutritious food so they can get better and be out of there. I have attached just a photo of the type of food they get and you tell me what is this and Where is the nutrition on that plate. Would you call dinner to that ?

The entire staff, Suzanne, and all of the nursing staff have been exemplary! Thanks to all of you and to Ben Johnson for building and leading such a great team! Keep up the good work, and many thanks again! Lisa & Jim Britt
