For the money you pay Baylake it is nothing special. They do not take care of some of their good employees. It is so sad. Their nurse director does not care and does nothing. The owners nor upper management listen to residents or family members concerns. All concerns fall on death ears. I would go somewhere else.

I can’t say enough good things about Bay Lake in Virginia Beach. The team here is truly amazing, and you can feel how much they care the moment you walk in.<br><br>Catie, the Executive Director, does an incredible job leading the community. She’s approachable, kind, and clearly so dedicated to both the residents and her team.<br><br>Olivia, the Memory Care Director, is just as wonderful. She has such a heart for what she does and treats every resident with so much patience and compassion. It really shows.<br><br>Rachel, the Wellness Coordinator, brings so much energy and positivity. She keeps residents engaged and makes sure they are taken care of and that there is something always meaningful going on.<br><br>And Brittany in the office is fantastic—super helpful, organized, and always quick to respond. She helps everything run smoothly behind the scenes and she is so so kind!<br><br>Overall, this is a place you can feel really good about. The team truly cares, and it makes all the difference. Highly recommend!

My husband is a new resident in Memory Care at Baylake. We experienced something very special today. They provided a wonderful Thanksgiving meal to my husband and our family. The food was delicious and the staff were beyond kind.

All the staff at Bay Lake have been wonderful with my mother. She had some heath issues that made her entry into assisted living challenging. Bay Lake was helpful and attentive and took care of all of her needs. She is doing great and loving it there.
