About Barbour Court Nursing And Rehabilitation Center

Families report that direct care staff—nurses and CNAs—are generally attentive and detail-oriented, with one family noting their mother received careful skin care and close attention during a 12-day stay. Cleanliness and building maintenance are consistently mentioned as strengths. My mother was at Barbour Court for 12 days due to swelling and difficulty maintaining an appetite to gain weight. THE staff was friendly, helpful, and PATIENT. The nurses greeted her and then they did what they needed to do. The CNA's were detailed oriented.. washed her, and kept her skin from drying out which was a BIG PLUS!!!.. The team that clean the building and rooms were on it daily. Just Great. AND Ohhh the Food/Kitchen staff were FANTASTIC!!. the food was served hot, seasoned, and they were friendly.. She gain 11 pounds(yeah!!). The therapist was friendly and consistent which was great.!!! THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE, the entrance desk workers, case managers, and everyone that I met and that worked with my 90 year old mother were good to us. They also worked with my Dad, in 2018. Keep UP the good work Barbour Court!!!

A few days ago, I went to visit a dear family member and upon entering was greeted with hostility from the personal at the front. She made it seem like I was bothering her. The lady, whom I believe is named Donna was extremely rude and seemed unwilling to help me locate my family member. Also, she seemed more concerned about what was happening in her phone then what was happening in or around her. I felt so disgusted and disrespected from her behavior. Aside from that experience, the nursing staff was very helpful and friendly and I couldn’t be more please with them. Thanks for taking care of my loved one.

My Mom is in her 80s and back home now. She seemed very happy most of her time at this place. Problems did arise that you would never want for your loved one. (Like at any nursing/rehabilitation center) but you could feel a real response in trying to fix the problems. Even at time changing staff around to accommodate the problem. You feel like they listen and do the best they can. They had many activities that my Mom loved and participated in! I want to say thank you for her stay. This is the first rehabilitation center I said this to. Props to the people that work there. Management and staff!

My father is currently receiving care here and I really just cannot say enough good things about it. My father can be very difficult and the staff is excellent and professional. He is always clean and well cared for when I visit once or twice a week. The building is older but well kept, tidy, and well cleaned. The upper management is excellent at communicating and organization. I am thankful for the care my father receives here and for the hardworking nursing staff that provides it.
