I'm speaking through my own personal experience. My father was a patient at Azle Manor up until his passing. I'm saddened that he has just passed away, but fortunate that he was in the care of great staff and a physician that always displayed compassion, kindness, and respect. I do not have a single regret of choosing this facility and I recommend Azle Manor on a frequent basis. Melinda Wyner

This facility has taken a drastic and deeply concerning turn for the worse over the past year. When I used to visit on weekends, the environment was lively—residents were engaged, active, and participating in activities. It felt like a place where people were cared for and had some quality of life. Now, it is unrecognizable. The atmosphere is quiet, stagnant, and frankly depressing. Residents who once seemed engaged now appear withdrawn and unhappy. There is a noticeable lack of activity, energy, and overall attentiveness. It no longer feels like a place focused on well-being—it feels like the bare minimum is being done. It is incredibly upsetting to witness this decline, especially when it involves people who depend on proper care and compassion. I do NOT recommend this facility to anyone. If you are considering placing a loved one here, I STRONGLY urge you to look elsewhere. The change over time has been alarming, and I would NOT want others to experience the same regret.

As a local home care agency, we have had the pleasure of collaborating with the team here on several occasions, and we are consistently impressed by the environment they’ve built. The first thing you notice is the friendly, welcoming energy of the staff. It’s clear they genuinely enjoy what they do, which makes a huge difference for the residents and their families. We also love seeing the vibrant activities they have lined up—there is always something fun and engaging happening to keep everyone’s spirits high. While our primary interaction is through coordination, the attention to care we’ve observed during transitions has been thoughtful and professional. It’s a relief to work with a facility that shares our commitment to making seniors feel at home!
