i have not come to visit my mother yet but i already dont like this place. the first time i called to check on her the kid-sounding white girl transferred me to "her nurse" then i got disconnected after a few minutes on hold. i called right back and got sent to another building. I repeatedly called three more times and no answer. Why have humans working these jobs if they have less compassion than a robot?

Very beautiful facility to have your loved one live in…more than most other places! Only problem is sometimes they (aides) don’t change my Mom until so many hours of sitting in her own soilage, unfortunately! Sad

Despicable place! Looks good but care is almost nonexistent! Call lights go unanswered for hours while staff enjoys setting & talking with each other.<br>The State board needs to investigate the lack of care!

I spent some time at the Avenue in rehabilitation after a nasty leg wound/operation. The staff were very good and as I was confined to my bed for most of my stay I was taken care of there. The nurses and doctors were very good at my daily wound care . When I was finally able to leave the room the physical therapist was very good and helped me regain the partial ability to walk before I left. The food was delicious. I enjoyed eating with the other residents when I was able. I was even alble to get a haircut and my nails trimmed wile I was there. Not a bad experience considering my injuries.

The activities director goes out of her way for the residents. She makes sure they have fun.
