I am extremely concerned about the conditions and treatment of residents at this facility. Based on what I personally observed, the building has ongoing maintenance issues, including leaks, and there appears to be a lack of basic supplies for residents. I also witnessed staff speaking to residents in a disrespectful and demeaning manner. Residents were reportedly denied snacks or yelled at for requesting them, which is deeply concerning.<br><br>The facility has also experienced a bed bug issue, raising additional concerns about cleanliness and resident well-being.<br><br>Because of the seriousness of these concerns, I have already filed a report with the appropriate state authorities and hope a thorough investigation is conducted. I believe family members should review surveillance footage where available and ensure staff members are held to appropriate professional standards because some of the workers have and still do steal feom the residents.<br><br>I have personally donated Easter baskets for the residents, as well as bed pads after learning there was a shortage. Unfortunately, I never received any acknowledgment that these donations were distributed to the residents, which was disappointing.<br><br>If you have a loved one residing at this facility, I encourage you to remain actively involved in their care, visit often, and even place hidden cameras in there and advocate for their well-being. Every resident deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
