This is an awesome community. It's very clean and well kept, and everybody is very welcoming and friendly.

I love living in Avalon Senior Apartments. My husband and I with our sweet companion dog have lived here for 1 1/2 years. The managers are awesome. All common areas are very clean and pleasant to be in. Our birthdays are celebrated. Other little touches are provided periodically. During this COVID -19 crisis the managers keep fresh flowers in the lobby. Word search and dot to dot puzzles are being provided to help us during self-quarantine. They refer to our apt as our home. Maintenance person is cheerful and prompt in response to requests. Snow is removed early in the day to prevent serious falls and problems with driving through the parking area. Many activities that help us become acquainted with our neighbors have been provided prior to this crisis. Rent is higher than the previous place we lived. It is worth every penny. Valet trash pick up that is provided prevents liquids that soil carpets. I think all of the above contributes to cheerful interaction among the residents.

A great place to live. We have been here for a year now and just signed a lease for the next year. The facility is clean, always smells fresh and is meticulously maintained. Site management is excellent with Lanell Ferguson as the senior manager. She ensures the apartment complex runs smoothly, has great people skills and is fun to work with anytime we have dealings with her. We looked at quite a few apartment complexes when we chose the Avalon Senior Apartments and we are very happy that we landed here. I strongly recommend the Avalon Senior Apartments for a overall wonderful home. We have thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

Don't Believe Everything They Tell You During the Tour. We received one story when we toured, and in reality experienced something different upon move-in. For example, the family room, we were told was available on a first come basis, unless we wanted to rent it exclusively for an event. We selected the apartment we did because of its proximity to the family room and our desire to spend the little time left with family as much as possible (time is very limited due to a liver cancer diagnosis). However, after a few weeks we tried to use the family room for the first time and found it is locked and not available on the weekends unless you pay $50. When discussing this with the front office, they did not deny we were told what we were during the tour. But they were committed to the $50 charge policy.

It is a nice place to live but the management there ,specifically Kelsey is a disaster. Right from the beginning She omitted telling us important information,like the fact that the storage areas we thought were free cost $45 a month and the covered parking was $45 extra and not "first come first serve "like she originally said . She failed to tell us correct information , like how to set up our internet so it will work ! She told us weeks later about a splitter we needed. The ethernet cable outlets in all the rooms don"t work without a splitter. She gave us unnecessary extra fees and even stopped my mail by telling to postman I had moved and had left no forwarding address !.This lost us income for 2 months I finally just recovered. She hasn't taken responsibility for doing this much less apologized and now just sent sent us a cleaning and painting bill when we left our apartment perfect. We now own a new house in St George and are very happy to have her out of our life ! One other point is we are older but we haven't stopped living ! She treats the people there like they are feeble minded and ready to die.Like ads on our door to buy funeral arrangements and charging us $15 a month to empty our garbage when we are perfectly capable of taking it to the dumpster ourselves.
