Dawn, in Admissions, was extremely responsive and helpful. Although the person we were trying to assist did not end up being admitted because he was sent to the hospital, Dawn did her best to gather the necessary information from the other facility and keep the process moving. As someone with a long-term care background, I know how noticeable it is when a staff member approaches their work with enthusiasm and a genuine willingness to help. Dawn’s professionalism and responsiveness reflected very well on the facility, and I really appreciated her communication during a stressful situation.

My friend, Susan Clark did not have a phone in her room. I went to the nurses’s station and told the person at the desk. Within 5-10 minutes a young man arrived with a phone. That is outstanding care.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation and Healthcare. From the moment my dad was admitted , we were met with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. The staff go above and beyond to make residents feel respected, supported, and comfortable. Therapists take the time to truly understand each individual’s needs and provide thoughtful, effective treatment. Nursing staff are attentive and compassionate, and the facility is always clean, organized, and welcoming. They gave me updates over the phone and the social worker went above and beyond. What stands out most is the feeling of community—everyone works together to make sure residents not only make progress, but also feel safe and at home. Our family is extremely grateful for the level of dedication we experienced. I highly recommend Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation and Healthcare to anyone looking for high-quality therapy, outstanding nursing care, and a team that truly cares.

I cannot say enough about Erin O’Connell, the Food Service Director at Atlantic Coast Rehab and Healthcare. She is nothing short of phenomenal! Erin goes far beyond her job title, she pours her heart, creativity, and professionalism into everything she does. The quality of meals, the variety, the attention to detail, and the way she listens to residents’ needs are absolutely outstanding. She doesn’t just manage the kitchen, she creates experiences. You can feel the love and care she puts into every menu, and the residents light up because of it. She takes the time to get to know each person’s preferences and dietary needs, always finding ways to make meals both nourishing and enjoyable. Erin embodies excellence, leadership, and compassion. In a world where true dedication can be hard to find, she shines brightly as a role model of what every Director of Nutritional Services should aspire to be. Atlantic Coast is incredibly lucky to have her, and I feel blessed to have witnessed her talent and commitment firsthand. If I could give Erin 10 stars, I would. She is truly the gold standard in her field! Highly recommend Atlantic Coast rehab because of Erin!
