About At Home Harmony

At Home Harmony is a home health and hospice provider serving Henrico, Virginia. The organization delivers care in patients' homes rather than in a facility setting, supporting families navigating serious illness and end-of-life needs.

Family experience centers on responsiveness and individual staff members who go beyond routine care. Multiple families praised quick follow-up—one noted receiving calls on consecutive days after initial contact, with a home visit scheduled promptly thereafter. Specific nurses and care coordinators earned recognition for treating patients with respect, patience, and detailed attention; one family wrote that a nurse "has gone above and beyond the purview of her job." A separate reviewer credited the organization's Guide Program and a care coordinator named Tara with helping navigate dementia-related issues and connecting families to broader resources. One family reported a stark gap in care readiness, citing missed safety protocols and staff unfamiliarity with dementia complications like sundowning, though this reflects a single negative experience against a broader pattern of positive feedback.

At Home Harmony holds a 4.2 out of 5 Google rating based on 42 reviews. Families consistently highlight the caliber of individual clinicians and the organization's communication responsiveness, though prospective users managing complex cognitive conditions should clarify the team's specific training and protocols.

They are unequipped to deal with Alzheimer’s patients. Don’t use them. They never communicate when they are sending a person over. The people who they send over have no clue what sundowning is. One attendant let my mom walk very far without her rollator, even though I’d just told her that my mom had fallen earlier in the week and had to get an x ray. The attendant was too busy on the phone complaining about my mom sundowning to catch that she was walking without her rollator. Another attendant brought my mom back with blood around her mouth and couldn’t explain it when I asked questions. No wonder they’ve had huge turnover there. They are unprofessional, uncommunicative, unsafe.

My experience with At home Harmony & the Guide Program was phenomenal. The nurse Deena and & Ms. Conovor helped me tremendously with my Father's health concerns. The Guide Program was also of tremendous assistance to me & my Father the patient. Tara guided me through issues of dementia and other resources that I could use. The phone calls from Tara checking on my Dad and addressing issues as they appeared was so helpful. The respite hours provided through the Guide Program gave me the opportunity to take a break to clear my mind when I felt overwhelmed. I will miss the attention, knowledge, and kindness from this organization. Thank you for EVERYTHING! Sincerely, Janet Branch

Everyone at At Home Harmony has been great and taken exceptional care of me, but I want to give Kim Reynolds RN an extra five stars just for her! She has gone above and beyond the purview of her job and helped me through a most difficult time. She’s has treated me with respect and without condescension which is very hard to find in many healthcare workers these days. I would recommend At Home Harmony and especially Kim to anyone who needs compassionate care.

I’m so very impressed with At Home Harmony. From the first day that Tara Beatty contacted me, which was on a Friday. I figured it would take a week or so before I heard anything else. Well I ended up getting a call on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from different people and then a home visit I believe the next week. They are so efficient and caring. I scheduled a in home meeting with Tara and had all our kids came and she was amazing explaining the process of dementia and what is happening to their dad and the stages that will happen. This was very informative meeting and has really helped us understand better. If you feel you need help please contact at home Harmony.
