I’m a care companion (“unofficial chosen family”) at Artis Senior Living in Wilmette. I’ve been with my wonderful memory care client/lady for over three years. I don’t work for Artis, but I have to say I’m proud to be part of the Artis in Wilmette community. First and most important I want the best for my client. I continue to be grateful that she lives in this community. Artis has been good, it has become great! The team, the programing and the environment brings so much positive to the residents and their families. Thank you for helping to create a memory care home that is safe, caring and full of life! My mom has been at Artis for over 3 years. We have had a very positive experience there at a very difficult time in my mom’s life. One of her main caregivers - Lisa - has gone above and beyond. My mom always scans the room and finds her. She smiles and laughs and asks for a hug. Lisa has made her feel loved and secure during this very difficult time. Thank you!!❤️

Somebody dies here like daily, I sweat theres ambulances on signals outside this place like twice daily. Idk man, I wouldnt put my elderly relatives here.

Our experience has been great. Theres always fun activities for my mom to do. We/she particularly like her nurse Maria and eric huy. They are exceptionally good with my mom, who can have difficult moments. Kathy Shelgren
