Arden Courts of Pikesville have sponsored a Dr. Cate memory cafe for the past six months. Every event highlights the excellent care that is given, the great training of the team and the warm, fresh home-like environment. You cannot help but leave feeling happy. Each resident is treated as key community members, with dignity and inclusion. Amber is phenomenal in her engagement with commitment to the residents' biographies and preferences. It is a phenomenal memory care community.

Choosing a memory care center for my mom was one of the most emotional decisions our family made. But from the moment we walked through the doors of Arden Courts Pikesville, we knew we had found the right place. Our first introduction was with Laura, Memory Care Advisor. She cared so much about our family even before we moved in treating us with endless support, kindness and compassion. There are no words to fully express the gratitude our family feels for the incredible care and love shown to my mom at Arden. From the very beginning, my mom was welcomed with warmth, patience, and compassion. The executive director Kelly is absolutely amazing and runs the center beautifully. She and the entire staff have taken the time to understand my mom beyond her dementia, honoring her personality, preferences, and dignity every step of the way. The kindness shown by the caregivers is evident in every interaction, whether it's a comforting smile, a gentle hand to hold, or the extra effort they make to help residents feel safe and valued. They treat my mom like family. The Activities Director Amber is beyond incredible! She brings so much energy, creativity and joy to the residents. She truly cares about making everyone feel engaged and valued. The communication with families is outstanding. We are always kept informed and feel welcomed whenever we visit. The facility is also so clean and beautifully maintained. The Arden staff work hard to create a positive and nurturing environment for families and residents. Our family always feels reassurance, understanding, and encouragement at Arden. Seeing my mom engaged, smiling, and treated with such respect has given us such peace during a challenging chapter of life. We are forever grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and heartfelt care provided every day. This center is more than a place of care—it is a memory care community filled with love, dignity, and hope. I had the opportunity to walk this facility on tour with Laura Ungar and it was incredible. As someone in the industry I've seen many facilities so when I say it was impressive I have a lot to compare to. Laura's connection with the residents was evident and for seniors suffering from memory loss and dementia that just highlights the impact this memory care facility is having. I would definitely recommend to families of loved ones in need of high level memory care.

From the very first tour through a family’s entire journey, the team demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and a deep understanding of the dementia experience. They truly know how to meet each resident where they are — regardless of diagnosis or stage. I especially appreciate their thoughtful, structured programming, which is designed specifically for individuals living with memory loss. The Bridge Program, offered in partnership with Springhouse, is an incredible resource for families navigating early cognitive changes and needing additional support. Most of all, I value the staff.
