I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Arc at Streator and the incredible care they provided for my dad during the last six months of his life. I was there about three days a week during that time, and I can honestly say the staff and residents became like family to me. The team was absolutely amazing—kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my dad’s health and well-being. It meant so much to know he was in a place where people truly cared. The facility was always clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, which gave me additional peace of mind. I am so grateful for the compassion and support they showed not just to my dad, but to me as well. Thank you to everyone at Arc at Streator for making such a difficult time a little easier.

Clean facility, awesome staff, CNA’s, Physical therapists and nurses, whom you can tell really enjoy their job. Doctors are a bit hard to get ahold of nor never have time to actually see the family (unfortunate but common in these settings) Nurses stay on top of things, give patient information when needed, call when needed, and get to the room in a timely manner when requested. Food is surprisingly pretty good! Administration Director (Cora I believe her name is) was a doll to work with, straight forward, answered and returned calls quickly, as well as answered any complex questions we might have. Would recommend. I feel like my important family member is in good hands.

My mom was there for Rehabilitation two weeks into her stay they started to see Improvement then all of a sudden she became weak I got a phone call saying she refused to participate in rehab they might send her home and I requested tests to see if there's an infection in her body because all the signs she was showing was showing signs of an infection. They acted as if she just didn't want to be there which nobody does and as if she refused to participate because of that. Instead of getting her emergency care when she continued with these signs and symptoms they waited it out and called me a few days later and notified me about her getting a weaker and not eating and said and they'll do more tests and since the doctor Works outside of the clinic and only comes maybe a couple days a week I told them to just send her to the emergency room immediately. I believe they should not have waited for my approval to do that with me being an hour away. They're definitely understaffed and need more training when to send a patient to the emergency room especially with patients being elderly. She got very very sick here come something she never had before she went.
