I had a wonderful experience this afternoon, when I visited Anderson Mill Rehabilitation Center. The receptionist was extremely pleasant, and helped me find my love one. The facility was extremely clean. Every staff member I encountered acknowledged me.

Staff was incredibly helpful and present in all areas. Marissa, my brother’s nurse on 100 wing, went above and beyond answering questions and getting us answers if she wasn’t sure. Lunch was delivered but made sure he was ok and if he needed anything. Nurse practitioner came in to look at an old wound, dress it to make sure wasn’t infected. Peach therapist came in and we were about to leave, so gave us the time for our good byes! Coming in from out of town meant a lot to us, and we greatly appreciate the staff and their support for our brother. Kathy & Chris Lucas

When I first arrived, the smell was overwhelming. The condition of my room was appalling the smell the bathroom was dirty. My family member had to come and clean the room for me because I was so upset about staying there. I felt really sorry for the patients there who were unable to speak so I’m gonna speak on their behalf. That place needs a health department to evaluate the facility to exterminate. I had to deal with cockroaches. The food wasn’t edible until my very last few days after all the complaining I did before I left I seen things getting better. I pray that they take care of the people that have been left behind with no families no memories no love one’s to care. Well I care. I will be coming back to see, if the people are being cared for properly.. I also would love to give a shout out to the people who met the most to me in my recovery the therapy. The whole staff was awesome. My nurse Care. Jerome my LPN he always smelled good and had a warm embracing smile. You could tell he enjoyed his job..George Ndege was also kind & a smile that could light up a dark room.My girl LaQunda Mitchell kept me happy being in a bad situation she brighten up my day with her charm, her laughter and her love. I so appreciate her..Yvonne Byaum she is very sweet, intentive, caring, and patient with her patient. She helped me through a lot of rough spots. I so appreciate her.. Jacqueline CNA was warm and pleasant even if I wasn’t her patient she always kept a smile and spoke daily even popped in the room to speak. She made a difference for me too..Chigozic Kanu-Oji very pleasant cared for me always came when called. Shandrica Nunnally , Yvrose Richemond Clington Ehirine Patrica Akinsire , Tracey Lavender are wonderful CNA I so appreciate each one of you in a very special way for your excellent care towards me thank you from my heart.Latoya Vilaire Brown what can I say you the bomb I miss you❤️Tabitha Pender always helpful and pleasant even when I was afraid to have my wound looked after.😊Mary Eitimen sweet and kind . Our mom was recently sent to Anderson Mill for rehab and we are so grateful that so far the experience has been a blessing. The meals are hearty, colorful and nutritious; the staff are friendly and don’t mind stopping and answering questions; but most of all, our mom likes it there. They don’t let her sit or lie too long. There’s PT, Speech, OT and other helpful activities. It’s a relief for us knowing she’s being taking care of. 👍🏼

If you have a loved one do not and I repeat do not put them in this place. I was there for approximately 3 weeks. I got nothing out of it especially occupational. They are extremely short-handed rude basically they treat you like you are a piece of meat flipping you over when they are changing you. The therapy there was awful except for the lady that did do some of my physical therapy. Occupational was awful. I sat there waiting for my occupational therapist to work with me. She paid more attention laughing talking and cutting up with fellow employees. I left there no better than I was when I got there. The food is awful. Especially if you are in the rehab area. They go to the people that live there permanently first. We were always the last to be served. If we got a plate of food that was warm we were lucky. 95 to 98 % of the time the food was cold Same breakfast every morning. Scrambled eggs a piece of toast oatmeal or grits usually oatmeal and that was breakfast every day. They are the only nursing home that I know of that does not make and take you to doctor appointments especially if you are only in rehab. They don't let you know this. Even if when the hospital send over information for you to see a doctor they do not take care of it. I was supposed to see a nerve doctor. It never happened. So once again I repeat you have a loved one do not send them to this place
