Anchorage Pioneer Home

Anchorage Pioneer Home, established in 1977, is a five-story assisted living and memory care community in Anchorage, Alaska. The home comprises two buildings organized into three neighborhoods with accommodations for 169 residents, with dedicated spaces designed to support those living with dementia in a safe and appreciated environment.

Located on the Park Strip, a greenbelt dividing Anchorage's business district from its oldest residential neighborhoods, the Pioneer Home offers striking views of the Chugach Mountains to the east, Denali to the north, and Cook Inlet to the west. The community serves many Alaska pioneers from the early 20th century, including former homesteaders, miners, and bush pilots, as well as those who helped establish Anchorage from a railroad tent town into Alaska's cultural and commercial center.
