American House St. Petersburg has exceeded my every expectation! My sister moved our parents here from North Florida 5 years ago to be closer to her, and while we hoped for the best, we really didn’t know what to expect.<br>American House is well run and kept clean, both of which are important aspects for healthy and comfortable living. Where they truly excel is how the staff cares for and forms genuine connections with their residents.<br>Employee, Celeste is friendly, helpful and greets everyone with a bright smile and sincere sense of warmth. She has always been helpful to our family - not just to our parents who are residents, but to us all.<br>Thank you American House St. Petersburg for doing what you do for residents and families so well!!

Drea in the memory care unit is a wonderful care-giver. She is kind, friendly, helpful, caring, funny, smart and outgoing. She is wonderful to work with and really cares for those of us in memory care, both the residents and their loved ones. She deserves a big pat on the back and an applause !

I drove through the parking lot to get a closer look and was not impressed. The grounds were messy and the building looked like it had seen better days. Not somewhere I would feel comfortable leaving a loved one. I will be looking elsewhere.

It's hard to place a value on the worth of a place where you trust the staff to take the best care of your parents. American House was the best choice for our family. I felt that way when my parents moved there from their condo on St. Pete Beach, and I feel that way now several years later. The staff at American House becomes your family. From the cleaning staff, to the dining staff, the med techs, the aids, the nursing staff, the Lifestyle enrichment team and the administration are 100% top notch. They went above and beyond to help us take care of mom and dad, and even helped us get through some of the more challenging times. My brother and I had toured multiple facilities and were discouraged - thinking none of them would be great for our parents. Then we found American House, which changed everything. If you are looking for a place that will feel like home and treat your loved ones like gold - this is the place for you.

The Memory Care team at American House in St. Petersburg has been nothing short of exceptional, and I cannot say enough about the care, concern, and genuine compassion they provide every single day.<br><br>In particular, Janet consistently goes above and beyond in every sense of the word. She is proactive, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful in how she communicates. Janet anticipates needs, keeps families informed, and takes the time to explain situations with clarity, patience, and empathy. That level of care brings immense peace of mind, which is truly priceless when you are trusting others with someone you love. What sets her apart is that this is not just a job to her, she clearly cares deeply about the residents as individuals, not routines or checklists.<br><br>If you are looking for a place where families are treated as partners, this is it.
