As far as Amberwood rehab, I felt it was clean, food really needs improvement! Therapy lacked for me! Didn’t receive enough to help me when I returned home! I complained about equipment and thought I might receive help to help me, but no help was given! Be careful if you use the beauty shop on the property! Unless you’re not really choosy! Get everything in writing. I was asked what kind of perm I wanted, didn’t receive anything like I asked for! I was even told if it didn’t take, she’d make it right! But the price went up whenever I complained that my perm didn’t take! I was certainly not happy with the outcome, no curls.

The facility is clean, staff are helpful and attentive. Admitted 3 weeks for sub-acute rehab. Mom progressed and enjoyed her time here. Thanks Amberwood!

My husband James Tyree was at Amberwood about a month. The Staff & Management were very kind and very knowable. We definitely have no complaints. The therapy that he received was very good & they had him walking with a walker & much stronger than when he arrived. I would definitely recommend this facility.

Hello my name is Virginia S. This is a wonderful facility. The atmosphere is very caring, loving and friendly. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Their communication style is awesome. The facility is beautiful inside and out. My family and I are so grateful and thankful that our mother was referred to this facility.

My mother broke her hip and went to Amberwood for rehab. She got the best care. The nurses and all the staff were so good to her. The facility is beautiful inside and outside. It doesn’t smell bad like some of the others. One of the long term residents makes mom’s day. Julia Morrison is a very helpful, wonderful person that’s full of life and always a friend to us!
