My mom was here for a while, she passed away in February. Before family even got there they let other residents go in her room and take her things, stuff that my mom promised my daughter was gone. I called multiple times asking them where her things were and telling them I want all of her stuff back, but they said that other residents took them, my daughter is extremely upset because she has absolutely nothing of her memaws, there was one thing she really wanted and no one could find it, all we got were some of her clothes, it’s extremely upsetting that they allowed others to steal my moms things before the family got to get them. Her jewelry, perfumes, bears, everything gone, the only thing my daughter wanted was a tiger squishy my mom had, the last time my daughter saw her memaw my daughter was setting there squeezing it, and they were both joking around, but after they took my moms things out of her room people helped themselves to everything while her family sat in the room with her. When they came and took my mom away I went down to her room and noticed everything was gone. I’ve begged the nursing home to get her stuff back for us but they didn’t, I called daily asking where her things are and telling them we want them, it’s been months and I still haven’t received my moms belongings. It’s sad that the second someone passes away they allow everyone that isn’t family to take all of her belongings without the families consent. I’d also like to add a few days before my mom passed away my kids and I were up there, she had stopped dialysis because she was tired of the way it made her feel, and the last few times she’s gone they couldn’t do it due to issues and she refused to go to the hospital, she was on hospice already, well my kids and I were in the lobby talking, when a nurse started yelling at her because she hadn’t gone to do dialysis, she told them she has an appointment tomorrow to go, but if they can’t do it she will not go to the hospital, the nurse really started yelling at her in front of my kids, and she yells well you are just going to die then if you don’t go, she was being extremely rude and hateful to my mom, and she upset my kids. This place is a joke, they are rude to patients, and they allow people to steal others belongings.

I have been in that facility. The staff was very pleasant and the place was very clean and it did not have that normal nursing home smell you've come accustomed to. I say that they have an outstanding environmentalist group. Because I grew up going in and out of nursing homes with most of my family working in them and I've never smelt one that smell good when you walked in but you do when you go into this one. Y'all have a good staff take care and God bless always and to the owners of the place be thankful of the staff that you have and make sure that you tell them that you appreciate what they do every now and then it goes a long way.
