Our mother has been living at Alto for almost a year now. She absolutely loves it there. She has made many new friends and doing great overall. She loves participating in all the daily activities. We feel she is safe and being well taken care of. The entire staff is amazing! Their care for the residents is above and beyond. They truly do care for not only the residents but the families also by making you feel welcome every time you walk in. They keep you in the loop of all that is going on and include you also in the activities. It is wonderful seeing how happy and well taken care of our mom is (and the other residents as well) when we visit her. We highly recommend Alto if you're looking for an ALF or memory care facility.

My parents chose Alto Tavares (previously called Osprey Lodge) about 6 years ago. They needed assisted living. My mother died a few years after they moved in, but my 96 year old father has maintained his health. The many reasons are due to the executive director Michael Hurwitz. Under his successful leadership, the beautiful facilities, hard-working staff, professional nursing care, and business management have resulted in outstanding resident care and award-winning acclaim in the community. Residents enjoy delicious chef-prepared meals. The enjoyable activities include frequent musical entertainment, delightful daily games, special bus excursions, and extravagant special events. They are at home, comfortable with friends, in a community of excellent apartments and facilities.<br>Like many families, I enjoy visiting my father. We both feel fortunate he lives at Alto. I recommend Alto Tavares to any senior who wants to have a welcoming, comfortable home. After settling in, they achieve the personal enjoyment of life as they chose it.

We frequent Alto both AL and MC, beautiful community. Myrna the activities director in MC has an infectiously positive personality and keeps the residents engaged.

I have participated in a number of events at Alto-Tavares and visited friends of family that live there. While I am always impressed by how well maintained the facilities and grounds are, what I remember most is the kind and caring individual's that make up the staff. All residents are treated equally with respect and dignity regardless of financial, physical, or mental situation/condition by everyone on staff from top management to the people that clean and everyone in between.<br><br>At every turn, staff treats residents like they would want themselves and their own family to be treated. They make a point to get to know them and their families/caregivers by remembering names and past conversations. They go the extra mile to engage on a personal level to make people feel like they matter.<br><br>Top marks. For Assisted Living, I can't say enough good things about Alto-Tavares.

Visited several times for events. The facility is beautiful! I was impressed by the warm welcome and the food was amazing.
