AltaVita Assisted Living is honestly a place like no other. I’ve worked in healthcare for over 15 years, and I don’t say this lightly, this is one of the most special communities I’ve ever come across.<br>One of the biggest things that sets AltaVita apart is that it’s locally and privately owned. It’s not some large corporate chain, and you can truly feel that difference the moment you walk in. Decisions aren’t made from a distance, they’re made with the residents in mind, every single time. This is a place where people genuinely care, and where residents truly come first.<br>The staff here are incredible. They’re not just doing a job, they build real relationships with the residents. You can see the kindness, patience, and compassion in everything they do. The management team is just as impressive, present, attentive, and always willing to step in and support both residents and staff.<br>What really stands out to me is how much the residents thrive. There’s a real sense of community and connection here that’s hard to find. The activities aren’t just “fill the time” kind of events, they’re engaging, fun, and thoughtfully planned to keep residents active and involved.<br>Even the design of the building shows how much care went into creating this space. Everything feels intentional and welcoming, and it’s clearly designed to support seniors of all abilities in a comfortable and dignified way.<br>I truly can’t say enough good things about AltaVita. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be genuinely cared for, respected, and part of a real community, this is it. In my opinion, it’s one of the very best communities on the Front Range.

I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I felt this experience was important to share. I have a family friend at this facility, and while there are a couple of kind nurses, the majority have come across as cold and unresponsive.<br>On multiple occasions, l've felt ignored when asking for assistance, despite being respectful.<br>I've also heard concerns from other families that call buttons can go unanswered for extended periods of time, sometimes over 10 minutes or more.<br>While staff may show compassion in certain situations, the consistency of care and attentiveness, especially toward visitors and family members—has been disappointing.<br>For anyone considering this facility, it may be worth taking these experiences into consideration for a piece of mind.<br>Like I said there ARE good nurses here. But management needs to do better filtering out the bad ones…

AltaVita Assisted Living is a beautiful facility with caring and compassionate staff. My mother-in-law lived there for 11 months until her passing this month. We are so grateful for the excellent care she received at AV. Every single person we encountered there was kind, professional, and diligent. Whatever Lindsay tells you during the sales process is absolutely true (sales people everywhere know what you want to hear, but in the case of AV what Lindsay describes is the way it is).

Both my mother and father lived at AltaVita Assisted Living over a period of two years. I dreaded the idea of them living in senior care, but the instant we walked into AltaVita we were thrilled. It is a WONDERFUL place.<br>I visited them several times per week in 2021-2023 and it was consistently clean and cheerful. The staff are warm and friendly to both the residents and their families. There are lots of activities and my parents liked the food. The front lobby/bistro area is delightful. Often, my parents didn't want to do a specific activity, but there are always folks in the bistro, chatting together, reading the paper, watching a football game, or just having a cup of coffee and relaxing quietly.<br>Gemma is a wealth of information about dementia and other senior difficulties. She is compassionate, and highly responsive to concerns and questions. She also helped us through the passing of my parents. I would love to live at AltaVita someday!
