Grandmother was originally admitted for SNF rehab but she quickly made the difficult decision to transition to hospice and pursue comfort care. Although we were only there 5 days until she passed we were treated with extreme kindness and excellent care. Hospice speciality and nursing staff worked together to adjust comfort medications/treatment hourly. Offered food/drinks and emotional support. Private room allowed family to visit comfortably during such a difficult time. Large cafeteria downstairs with food/drinks available for family and kitchenette also on the floor. Clean facilities with ample supplies. The care continued for my grandmother even shortly after she passed — a totally unexpected but beautiful gesture as they prepared her for our final goodbyes and the funeral home arrival. Thankful for this type of care during the darkest of times.

My mom had a fall at Christmas last year and she ended up at Marlborough hospital for a week. Marlborough hospital recommended this place for my mother early this year whe she was ready to be released from the hospital. My mom wasn't eating much at all, although her chart showed that she had a Fair appetite. She lost a lot of weight while in there. It got to the point I was asking for her to go back to the hospital, but the doctor wouldn't be in until Monday or Tuesday, as he was only there one day a week. It got to the point where I told them that I was planning on calling 911 for an ambulance to get her back to the hospital. Amazingly the doctor graced us with his appearance. And finally agreed with me that she needed to go to the hospital. Something the nurses couldn't make that decision? By the time we got to the hospital she was severely sick. The ER discovered that she had a severe UTI, that went Sepsis, she also developed a severe bed sore on her low back. She spent 10 days at the hospital again and the was she went to a better rehab facility. But the damage was already done. Back to the hospital one more time, then back to the better rehab. Unfortunately she lost her battle and passed in early February. From what I was told, the UTI and the bed sore was too much for her to recover from. I was lucky enough to be with her at her side for the last 6 weeks of her life. As I mentioned that Marlborough hospital recommended this place, honestly I wish they never did. And I hope they never will again, my life might be different than it is today. There was some very nice people that work there, and I thank them for being so nice to mom, but feel that more medical work should have been done or observed, as her condition got even worse in their care. I am sorry this happened to you Mum, I miss you dearly.

Spoke with maintenance crew and housekeeping. Were quite rude and very difficult to work with. I don't know much about the rest of the workers, but if they act like them, you should take your business elsewhere.
