My mother was in this place for a few months and I got her transferred . She was never given therapy. Some of the aids and nurses were nice but there were a few who were not. I even reported an aid after she threatened to put my mom in a room and leave her there. Nothing was done or looked into because I saw the aid working the next day. The social worker was a nightmare. The lead social worker not the other one. Room was always dirty and they put my mom in a room alone after she asked to have a roommate. I don't recommend this facility at all! Let me also add that when she did have a roommate, the roommate passed away and they left my mom in that room as the family came in to say their goodbyes. My mom spent the day watching this unfold. No dignity for the passing woman or for my mom watching all this. Needless to say my mom was heartbroken. I could see their favorite residents are the ones that could do more for themselves and didn't complain much. The food was horrible. An aid brought her dinner in and even she wasn't sure what it was. Please think twice before putting a loved one here.

My mother was here for over a year. She got very good care from everyone. The aids and nurses were very caring and were always watching for any changes. The Dr's and PA's kept up with all her medical needs. The therapists were very good with her. Even though it is an old building, it was always clean. All staff made her feel cared for.

My Mother was at Allegany Health to strengthen herself after a hospital stay. Staff was very professional and exceeded my expectations during her stay. Therapy worked around my Mom's schedule and prepared her for her discharge home. Very homelike atmosphere. Mom would definitely return to this facility for any future needs
