My Father has lived at Alexis Estates for the better part of 4 years and it has been a great experience. The management & staff has been excellent, overall quality of the food has been very good, the property is well kept with well thought out common spaces that are light and bright, and the residences have convenient floor plans.

Sitting here listening to the weekly meeting and simple requests from residents like how to make a grilled cheese escalate in to a lengthy discussion/argument from management with no resolution. Some also asked could they keep the back doors unlocked so residents can access the garden area as they used to with the only response that it’s not required because managers are off shift at that time. A suggestion to look in to the cost of installing a keypad was dismissed. The first thing I heard from manager with the microphone was in response to a complaint that questions are often met with “I don’t know”. He stated that it’s ok to not know but that it shouldn’t be the final word. I agree! Certainly hope that means management is actively seeking answers to resident concerns and requests. We’ll find out next week…
