Vivo (formerly Abby Jean Russell / Aidan)
I stayed here 4 days after a hospital discharge. I had serious concerns about medication management and communication. One of my heart medicines was given in a different form than what I normally take (mine is a 24-hour extended-release capsule). I questioned it and was told it was the same. After taking it for about three days, my blood pressure dropped significantly, and I later ended up in the emergency room after nearly passing out and going into atrial fibrillation. The facility also did not have some of my regular medications for the first two days. After discharge, my insurance company told me my coverage had been changed to straight Medicare without my knowledge. Food and overall care were disappointing. I hope they improve medication verification and transparency.

My mom was sent here after a stay in the hospital. I fought for her to go somewhere else to come home to Ohio she wanted to be in Florida! Her roommate stole her stuff, she died while in this facilities care. The facility have no explanation of what happened. I called no one knows. I know people die she was scheduled to go home Wednesday she passed away on Friday. The lack of communication, compassion and care is tragic 0/10 I do not recommend this place it smells like excrement, bad food, uncaring staff, dirty and my mom died the facility staff did CPR on a DNR person. I can go on all day but you get the gist at this point.

Review of Vivo Rehab/Nursing Home

My mother stayed at Vivo Rehab, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing overall. While the therapy team was one of the few bright spots — professional and supportive — the rest of the care left a lot to be desired.

The facility was not clean, which raised serious concerns for me and my family. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, especially in a place caring for vulnerable individuals. The food was just okay, nothing great, but not terrible either.

What really stood out was the lack of attentiveness from much of the staff. Communication was inconsistent, and several staff members seemed disengaged or overwhelmed. It didn’t give us confidence that my mother was being cared for properly.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend Vivo to others. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and works on improving the quality of care and environment for future residents.
