We don't talk enough about death, so I wasn't prepared at all for when my father needed to be placed in a facility. Touring nursing homes was absolutely gut-wrenching because it seemed to be primarily about business. I don't know if Deanna Dang works at this facility anymore, and it's been 11 years since my father died, but this was the ONLY place I went to that had staff that outwardly showed they cared about the people they were taking care of. It wasn't as fancy as the other places we visited, but it was clean and the people working there obviously cared about my Dad.

Staff and administrators have been helpful and caring. The facility is in a pretty and wooded setting. Read some reviews that the building had a damp smell. It looks like several venting features were added and this does not seem to be a problem any longer.
