They seem like a good company but sadly, I haven't gotten the chance to work any hours for them. :( 😓 I applied, had an in person interview. I was hired and the orientation was scheduled. The day before orientation late in the day, I still had not received the onboarding email so I called the office. They said oh it's probably because the person who does that has been out sick. I said oh ok. Orientation is tomorrow. They said, Oh I think that was cancelled. Good thing I called as I had taken the day off to attend. It was then rescheduled and was fine, no problem. :) Attended orientation. Did TB test. Waited for a few weeks of an offer of hours, nothing. Then they called saying they had lost all of my information.😳 I gave it to them again and waited a few more weeks. I called to see about hrs as no one had called. They said oh we have this and this and this available. None of those 3 fit in my schedule. Besides the call I MYSELF MADE asking about hrs available, I NEVER got a call offering me ANY HOURS AT ALL. It's been over 2 months now. I'm sure they have had new clients call offs in two months time but no one has called. The other agencies send emails with all of the hours available or call regardless of what your availability says. I never received any offers. I am an asset to a company.I am reliable, work consistently with a great deal of caregiving experience including many years of Dementia experience. I would have thought I would have received at least one call or email offering hrs once hired, sadly I have not. The other agencies I applied to hired me and began sending offers right away. Some of which I had to rearrange my schedule for because I couldn't wait anymore to work. I'm very disappointed as I really wanted to work for them. :( I recently sent a message to them and never even got a response. :( I still have not gotten any call, email, text, or anything. :( I was recently hired elsewhere and thankfully got hrs quickly. All of the staff gets the same email of offers whether your availability fits the offers or not, then it's first come first serve. :( Advisacare seems like a good company to work for. I really wanted to work with them. Even though I hv never gotten any offers, :( 😭I would definitely work for them if they would just call with offers. 😓

They were great... until they weren't. I was blindsided by them dropping me from their care after I was admitted to the hospital. I know it's within their rights to not provide services when they want, but to drop me without giving me a reason and avoiding my phone call shows a lack of integrity on their part. While the nurses didn't directly say anything negative to me, I am certain they were doing so behind my back. Unfortunate that they chose the action that they did, but I appreciate the help I did receive.
