Caregivers appear to adapt well when regular staff are unavailable, maintaining the same quality of attention.

Eric and Ashton were great. They gave good information and helped me learn how to stretch and use my muscles again. I really enjoyed working with them. I made real progress thanks to their dedication to helping me. I really appreciate them very much.

My home dialysis care. Person‘s name was Lindsey. Lindsey was an extremely efficient person at what she did and yet still found time to be very warm and charming. She became like one of our family. I was so disappointed when we had to say goodbye for the last time. If you live in the Kanawha County area outside of Charleston and you can get Lindsey as your care team nurse you could not ask for anyone better. The entire team was very professional, and I would not hesitate to have them back in my home. But just to reiterate, Lindsey was above and beyond

I had to choose 1 star because there was no negative star to choose. My family has used Amedisys since 2020. Yesterday, 4/30/25, my father was "dropped" as a patient. I was told by the hospital case manager who was told by Jill, the liason from Amedisys, that it was because I had not informed them that my dad had been admitted to the hospital. This is a lie, as I was on the phone with the night duty nurse Elizabeth at the time. She was told that I was calling 911 and sending him to the hospital. I called Amedisys and spoke with Sadie who transferred me to Sharon, who did not answer. I called back and spoke with Bridgette who transferred me to the director Crystal who had an entirely different reason why he was dropped. She told me it was because I did not live with my dad 24/7 (I do and have for some time) and that since it was their job to make it so a patient is not sent to the hospital, she felt that they weren't doing their job and that maybe another agency could do a better job. I told her that the night nurse refused to send someone to look at my dad and advised me to wait to see how things turned out. Had I waited, dad would have become septic. So, I DO NOT give this agency any stars and would NOT recommend.

Your nurse Miss Judy is an awesome person! She is the most professional and competent nurse I have met. Her caring and concern for her patients is second to none. If you have more like her I would recommend your service to anyone. Thank you for all you do for all people. Bubba

I received home healthcare due to a major surgery that I had gone through. My caregiver during this time was Shawna Huffman, who is really top-notch in my opinion. At one point, Shawna was not available and Brian (last name unknown) came in her place. He was also very good and knowledgeable about his job. I’ve had nothing but good treatment and good people through my experience.
