I cannot say enough positive things about this facility. The staff felt like family with genuine care and compassion. Never once felt rushed, hurried, or brushed off when I had a question or concern. I've experienced several other facilities and this one hands down sets the bar to beat. Great place, great people.

My mother in law was not getting her pain medication as scheduled for 5 weeks. The State did investigate & it was founded. Also, I had to watch her suffer due to no medications to help her breathe. I have never watched anything so traumatic. My mother in law suffered to breathe & I watched her daughter get into bed with her mom & cry for 2 hours while her mom struggled until she passed. My mother in law should be alive today. My wife is suffering PTSD because of this. This facility lied in so many areas. My mother in law had bed sores, was shut up in her room with her head laying in her cereal bowl when we went in at 1030 am she had bruises from being rough handled which we have pictures of & seeking a lawyer. So many things went on & we were in the process of pulling her out of this facility until she got dropped twice & she went downhill fast. She was celebrating her b day one day & gone 2.5 weeks later they can lie all they want. But, we have the proof & can provide to a lawyer. My wife constantly was asking them if her mom had her scheduled pain meds 3 times a day & Dawn a nurse was one whom replied she was busy running her A off & didn't have time to give my mother in law her pain meds. My mother in law told us she wasn't getting her pain meds. She had waited this one day of many for 7 hours. And still would of been waiting. Everything was a constant battle. From dressing bed sores on time to my mother in law not having BM for 8 days and you couldn't get them to brush her dentures & apply new fixodent her teeth would always be flopping & were always afraid to leave. My wife trusted these people when she put her mom there & she ( my wife) had ti do the care when she was there. We even put up a white board and wrote tips to help the caretakers & they never followed it. My mother in law was afraid of the dark & an aide told us after we left they shut her door si she couldn't call out because they put her light where she couldn't reach it. And my mother in law knew exactly what was going on. She told us this was happening. I can't even begin to say all the disappointment and at the cost of my mother in law. Even the kitchen lady Mary would hide the light weight coffee cups from my mother in law because my mother in law had fingers so painful she needed a light weight cup. We even expressed this to the DON &it still went on. So sad! This stuff was founded.
