Your nursing home requires significant updates to better meet residents' needs whether they are private or public pay residence everyone deserve rooms that are cheerful, modernized, and feels like home - not a prison. The single resident rooms are too small Particularly for the cost and the double-occupancy rooms do not provide adequate space or privacy for family visits. There is little room for family members to sit comfortably, making meaningful and private visits difficult if impossible. There isn’t even a a private family room to use for those of us who travel so far on a weekly basis to visit our family member. I recommend you expand your room sizes and improve accommodations for visitors as that would greatly enhance residents' quality of life and family interactions. The facility would also benefit from substantial modernization and renovation. Resident rooms are desperately in need of updating from flooring, to curtains. Your saving grace is your nursing staff. Most care about the residents and that’s why they are committed to this agency. Please set aside some of those public and private funds to upgrade your facilities accordingly. Thank you..

This is a very nice little place. It is a little dated, but it is well kept and taken care of. Staff are attentive and friendly and seem to really care for everyone. Being around and working in nursing facilities throughout my life I'd say this cute little place rates at the top of the list. None institutional feeling, odor free, good food, friendly and caring staff.

I just wanted to thank everyone at Red Oak Rehad and care center for taking care of my mom while she was there. Everyone there was very helpful, kind and genuinely compassionate on making sure she had what she needed. I would recommend them to anyone if your loved ones need the extra care. They made the process very easy and comforting. Thank you again for every. It means a lot to me and I know it meant a lot to my mom.

Not a good place for anyone. Alzheimer patients abuse the general population, both physically and verbally and nothing is done to stop it. Understaffed, old hole-ridden blankets, chronic bladder infections because staff won't help with getting to the bathroom, clothes get lost by the laundry staff or stolen. Awful, awful place. But Mom doesnt want to cause trouble and won't move. Sad, sad place.
