I had a relative staying there, thankfully only a short time. She was in the late stages of dimensia . There were a dozen spoiled adult diapers on the floor of her room along with dried up vomit. There was no door on her bathroom. Just a curtain to pull across. When I came for a visit I found her laying in a soiled bed sheet that had been that way for days. The staff appeared abusive and very rude . I would not even leave my dog there.

They tricked my grandfather into things. Rude staff with rules and guidelines changing on a day to day basis. This is just a job and you can tell. They could care less about their residents. Pathetic.

***ABUSE ALERT***They have abused and neglected my grandmother during this pandemic. She is now in a coma and going to pass away due to their neglect. The pictures are so graphic I will not post them. Get your loved ones out of there immediately. My goal is to shut them down permanently!

I was very skeptical about bringing my mom here as there were no reviews online which is why I am writing a review. My mom has dementia coupled with Parkinson's disease and had previous been in a facility for 2 months and was literally deteriorating there. We brought her to Accura and after 3 weeks of extensive cognitive and physical therapy, she was able to go back home with my dad and a part time nurse! They did not just give up on my mom and listened when her and my dad both indicated their goal was for her to go back home and not stay in the facility. They were very diligent with her medications and actually warned us of some that could be causing her hallucinations and delirium which landed her in the facility in the first place. They were kind and caring and stayed by my moms side all night her first night there as she was scared and they comforted her and made her feel at home. I called the next morning after her first night there and she could not quit talking about how sweet everyone was to her. I would highly recommend this facility to any and everyone that has a loved one that requires a nursing facility.
