I am completely disgusted by the "care" my aunt was given at this facility. She went in for rehab, but when she wasn't improving, they pushed and pushed for her to receive hospice care there. They are not a hospice center. On several visits, she was laying in soiled bedding for hours. They do not have rails on the bed and she fell out of bed 3 times. When she was finally transported to a real hospice center, she was in a comatose state and they transported her IN A WHEELCHAIR! We were assured she would be transferred by ambulance. The driver of the van said they can't transport her like that. The social worker at Absolut said "we are today." She fell out of the wheelchair several times on the ride. When she arrived at hospice she was severely bruised and unable to hold up her head. The caregivers at the hospice center, as well as the young man driving the car were in tears at the sight of it all. An official complaint was filed through the state. They also falsified her records and said she was up playing games in the rec room the week before she died, while in a coma. I still lose sleep thinking of this situation and don't want to see another person treated like this.

I would leave no stars if I could. My mom stayed there for 6 weeks in rehab. While there I came in with the call light hanging on The room divider, another time her colostomy bag broke open at breakfast and I went to visit at 2:30. And she was still sitting in her own feces!!!! Another time she was uncovered and freezing with the call light not in reach. She called for her medicine and it arrived hours later!!! Food always cold! Left a message for the administrator and still no return call! I complained about her urine in her bag and was always told she was fine! She started to refuse her therapy due to pain. She got discharged A Monday and visiting nursing sent her to the er on Tuesday. She was In Septic shock with a very bad urinary track infection !!!! Along with a bed sore that was infected to the bone!!!! This is just complete neglect! But they sent me a text message in the daily that is anything happens that I would go through a mediator and not lawyers. I have put in complaint daily . I also but in a grievance with the facility due to the neglect of a nurse. Wonder what my next move might be?

Worst nursing home my wife has ever been too! Nurses were good! Some aides need to find another job! Dialysis nurse was excellent! Food always cold tray was placed out of reach! Wounds weren’t cared for reason for herMERCA! Would never refer this place to any enemies!They caused my wife’s death!

The care provided to my sister was terrible .. she was left in her soiled diaper and bedding soaked with urine /feces .. this happened on multiple occasions.. nothing done to correct it even after I brought it to the attention of administrators .. the room was filthy … she needed assistance to eat and little was done to help her .. security was non existent.. anyone could walk in the building .. staff sat around socializing more of the time instead of caring for their patients.. I removed my sister to care for her at home cause this place was not safe for her care

My mom was recently there for rehab. She’s 93 years old but alert, oriented, and follows her therapy instructions to the letter. All the therapy staff treated her with respect and she couldn’t wait for her sessions every day because she enjoyed it so much. I have to give a huge shout out to Ashley O , Kayla, Shannon, and Karen as well as her aide AC and the greatest social worker ever, Jackie ! Mom did not want to be in rehab but she admits it was very good for her. She got home in under a week and is doing well thanks to everything she learned at Aurora Park Rehab. Thank you everyone. We will always remember you all fondly. You all advocated for Mom and went above and beyond for us.
