AGV is more like a "resort" than a gated residential community. The homes are well built, not too big, and beautiful. The club house, exercise room, pool, and an array of activities are delightful. The location in a quiet area of Hickory, NC, that's so close to everything this jewel of the Carolina foothills offers, is wonderful; its midway between rhe highest peaks in the Blue Ridge and the best beaches on the east coast. But the best part is the diverse and interesting people living there. We feel blessed to have found a home here. They are scarce.

We are blessed to have Mom at Abingdon Glenn. From activities at the clubhouse to Friday afternoon "therapy" groups....it's where neighbors become "extended family" and management truly cares about it's tenants.

Couldn't park near place I went to visit because there isn't room enough around the townhome I went to! Bad designs of driveways & areas around each townhome!!
