My wife and I were among the first of many couples who moved into Abiitan at its opening. We enjoyed living downtown near the Guthrie Theater. Smith and Porter dinning facilities offered excellent menu choices. Being close enough to MacPhail<br>Music Center that their staff and outstanding students were able to perform for us here in Abiitan. We enjoyed walking along the Mississippi River on paved paths.

Abiitan has been an extremely warm and welcoming place for my parents who moved from Chicago last year. I was so thrilled to find a vibrant and engaged community for my retired dad and a wonderful memory care for my mom with dementia. The memory care staff (all staff!) are outstanding and give me peace knowing that my mom is being well cared for and appreciated. The arts director is fantastic, inviting guest musicians, storytellers, artists, etc on a regular basis and engaging with all the residents. All of this in a beautiful, bright and cheery environment (plus a lovely rooftop deck)! My parents, each with very different needs are both very happy at Abiitan.

My husband Peter and I love living at Abiitan. The location is superb... just down the street from the Guthrie Theater, across the street from the MacPhail Music Center and block off the river. The restaurant downstairs has excellent food, there are many activities programed every day, and the highly qualified, helpful staff members are an integral part of the “Abiitan family”.
