After requesting a certain nurse no longer visit my home i was told its all they had a id have to deal with it. So i sucked it up and tried to find a new primary care physician while continuing with the nurse. Several times the nurse asked me if id like to sign off and I continued to say no. Along came my recert and somehow I no longer qualified. The hospice dr (Burkharthe) offered to give me a 30 day prescription for my morphine ER and morphine IR since i had been taking 180mg scheduled per day plus 15mg instant release for break through pain and to help breathing throughout the day. The dr sent the scripts in but over 5 days she was sent 3 pas to sign and blatantly ignored leaving the patient with limited choices. This hospice has no compassion and will drop you without hesitation . Do not send someone you love to them
