Woodruff Manor has the kindest staff, and nicest folks working there. My Mother has been very well taken care of, and she is happy with her care, medical help, and meals. She has lived there for 5 years, and always tells me that she is very happy, and likes living there. Thank you to Woodruff Manor, and all of their genuinely wonderful staff for making sure my mother is so well taken care of and looked after with such kindness.

If you are searching for a nursing facility for your loved one, Woodruff Manor is the best.
I have worked as an EMT to RN in adult care all my life and my plan in retirement was to take care of my mom. She is not only my mom, but we are best friends.
Life changes has brought us to a different place in life. As she is aging, her declining health is requiring more assistance with her daily care. I am no longer able to be a daughter, I was becoming more of a nurse for her. Our quality time as mother- daughter was becoming less and less. It is not where I wanted us to be at this stage of our lives. It was the hardest decision to make concerning my mom. I came to a point of exhaustion trying to be a nurse, daughter, wife, and a grandmother.
You will come to a point for seeking care for your parents. I have high expectations and expect the best quality of care for mom. I had several failed attempts of hiring home care sitters in other agencies. Woodruff Manor is my facility of choice. Let’s be real. You will never find someone who cares for your love one as you care for them. Why? Many reason, but I have a few ideas for you to think about.
First, look at communication between staff. Second, You must express you expectations. Are you getting feedback? How long does it take for a return call. Rose Flynn works at the front desk of Woodruff Manor. If you have any and I mean any needs, this is the first person I call. She is the face and voice of this facility. She goes beyond her job. She is compassionate, happy and wiling to get anyone on the phone for me. She speaks to mom daily. This position could make or break a facility. Thank you Rose for our developing friendship and the love you have for my mom.
I can not say enough about the nursing staff. They work hard. COVID took a toll on us all. I worried about mom and the facility closed 2 weeks after placing mom. It was a struggle. Over the months of closing, the staff communicated with me as I expected. Mom looked better at our window visit than she looked under my care. She was able to develop friendships with people in her age group. This Actually help her mental health. She was no longer lonely for people her age. Now, I pop in without announcing my arrival. Marie Mahon, LPN is absolutely wonderful. She is always on her feet working. She cares for her patients. My mom just loves her. No matter how busy she is, she always stops what she is doing, looks at me and listens to my concerns. That is hard to find in staff that is busy on computers all day. I can be on the phone with mom and she listens to my mom’s concern. Thank you for being ready, willing and alert on your job. You are wonderful.
Over the weekend, I pop in and speak frequently to Crystal Lallement, Nurse Leader. Thank you for being approachable and concerned for mom. She is always giving suggestions for better health. She is great at communicating, as well. She is so compassionate at her job and available to me with my concerns.
All around this facility is on the top of my list. The staff is the best you can find anywhere. The facility is clean. Communication, compassion and feedback from staff members is a choice. Woodruff Manor has the staff that makes a choice to help family and going beyond their job titles. Thank you to all the staff. I look forward being with you in my mom’s days to come.

Karla Lamb, thank you for your hard work in building such a great team. I can focus on my life as a daughter and spending quality time with my sweet mother.
