My family has been at this facility for years, and we have seen a lot of changes. Sadly, this is the worst it has ever been. We have made complaints, but nothing seems to change, which is why I have decided to take our concerns to the news.

Families pay a lot of money expecting their loved ones to receive good care, clean rooms, good meals, and respect. Instead, many of those promises are not being kept.

The meals have become a big concern. Some residents have said they don’t even receive their room trays, and families are still charged for meals even when their loved one is out of the facility for long periods of time.

There are also concerns about medications not always being given as they should be. Residents depend on staff for their health, and that should always be a top priority.

The environment is very unprofessional. Employees have argued and fought in front of residents, and management has spoken to employees in a disrespectful and unprofessional way. No resident should have to witness that.

There is also one male staff member who has been rude to residents. I have heard caregivers complain about having to care for residents and speak negatively about them. Residents deserve kindness, patience, and respect.

There have also been serious concerns raised about money being taken from residents, and nothing has been done to address it or provide answers.

We have continued to hope things would improve, but they haven’t. I am now actively seeking somewhere else to take my family if meaningful changes are not made soon. The residents deserve better, and so do the families who trust this facility with the care of their loved ones. I hope speaking out will finally bring the changes that should have happened a long time ago.

The first time we looked at Woodlake was over a year ago. I want to say that when we came back this month for another look the building looked like a new place. There was a full renovation done and it looks stunning. There was obviously lots of thought (and money ) put into the building that makes a really nice calming and soothing vibe. The bad part was that there was a waitlist for the room we looked at a yr ago :) We did speak to 3 seniors who were all very happy and had lots of praise to say. I liked that they made friends and have a social life.

The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was polished, and the entire experience felt effortless. They make excellence look suspiciously easy.

I am very disappointed and disgusted with Wellness Director Trischelle Sheeler. She is extremely unprofessional. Everything else about this place is great though, and the rest of the staff. But when my family and I came to visit my Stepfather, I heard Trischelle getting upset at her employees for telling Matthew (Who I believe is the highest level manager) about something she messed up on! Very odd. I was eavesdropping, but employees should be able to freely speak their mind, and I shouldn’t have even heard that conversation, because it should have been held in private! So Instead of getting welcomed by her, I saw her treating her employees poorly, and not taking accountability for her wrong doings… Not a great look. I usually never write reviews, but this needs to be addressed. Ms. Sheeler doesn’t care about her employees, and she most definitely doesn’t care about any of the residents living here. She makes this place go from 5 stars to 1. But in general, I would not recommend sending any family here whatsoever until Trischelle is OUT! Absolutely insane.
